Book-A-Palooza is a community event for all ages, hosted
by the Corona Public library in the parking lot and community rooms. Many come to enjoy the food and entertainment, learn about
the city of Corona, discover information about various community programs, partake of the book sales, and learn
about the various programs at our excellent facility!
The 2010 Book-A-Palooza occurred on Saturday, 20 March. Our
booth was staffed by our members who answered questions and inspired people to investigate their own family trees. Our
Book-A-Palooza committee, chaired by new Board of Directors member Elaine Hernandez, coordinated the event and our society
attracted many interested individuals. To all who participated (see photos below): THANK YOU!

Magazine Mania
Magazine Mania
is the annual magazine drive for the Corona Public Library. In 2009 the genealogical society donated $150.00 for the
purchase of magazine subscriptions ($100 of which will go specifically to genealogy-themed publications). There are
already a number of Genealogy-focused magazines on the shelves of our library . . . check them out next time you stop
by!!
