From here you can obtain a downloadable copy of our latest newsletter,
Family Tree Quest. Newsletters are issued each month under the capable hands of our editor, Len Enlow. At the
August 2008 General Membership Meeting, it was decided (by a unanimous vote) to provide only an electronic version of
the newsletter. There will still be a few physical copies of the newsletter printed for those interested in
seeing what is published by the society, but we will no longer "snail-mail" them. We do have a reciprocal
newsletter exchange arrangement with a number of local genealogical societies (and a few not-so-local ones), also transmitted
electronically and then forwarded to society members by our editor. If you represent such a society, please contact the editor
to setup that arrangement:

December 2008 edition:

As usual, the monthly newsletter includes a number of helpful suggestions for genealogists (beginning through advanced),
combined with information and some recollections. As usual, Len's list of web sites will keep many of us up into
the night surfing the net and collecting ancestors. In going through the many resources and other articles listed in
this newsletter, one wonders what people did before the Internet! Those involved in British Isles research
will find some great hints, as will those involved in British Columbia research! There is some local history provided
for Corona residents and those interested in the town's early years. A review of our December meeting, another Lost
Lexicons article, and information on Ancestry.com's World Archives Project round out the December newsletter. Something
for everyone! Just click the link below.
